Not Bob Barker big, but your reptiles will thank you!
We haven’t had a giveaway for a few months. Remember our massively popular month-long contest with SnakeBytesTV and then our t-shirt/cap contest through Facebook? Oh yeah, those were the days. And now they’re back. Kritter’s Crumble is pleased to announce that we’re starting a new contest today, Wednesday, May 23, which ends on Saturday, June 9th.
Here’s why:
a.) We love contests.
b.) Facebook Timeline has forced us into a bit of an identity crisis.
We like Timeline, sure. But that big banner in the back? Eh, we’re just not feeling it. And so we want to populate it with images from you. Help us with our Facebook Makeover and you could win two free bags of Kritter’s Crumble.
Here’s how:
1.) Post your best & absolute favorite photo of your reptile on the timeline of Kritter’s Crumble Facebook page or email them to photo-contest@galuku.com. We’re calling all turtles, snakes, lizards, oh my! If it’s a kritter, it’s got a home with us.
2.) Go ahead and ”like” us. Shouldn’t be hard: we’re very likeable. And we don’t bite.
3.) Entries will be judged by our resident blogger Brad Walker, who is an excellent judge of all things reptilian. He explains his criteria as follows:
As judge of this photo competition, I request that everyone provides a nice clear photo that is in focus. I would like the entrant to provide their name and that of their species/animal. For example:
“My name is Brad Walker and this is my pet Stimson’s python. His name is Eddie and he is 13 years old. Eddie has lived with my family since he hatched out of an egg all those years ago.”
These details will go a long way in helping me judge the competition.

Brad, as you know, has worked in the Zoo industry for over 25 years as a reptile and mammal keeper, and as a curator. He’s also recently judged reptiles at a number of reptile shows in NSW Australia. Trust us, he’s very qualified.
4.) Winners will be notified by returning to the site on Friday, June 15th at 12 noon, EST. If you’ve made it onto our banner*, you’ve just won yourself and your pet two free bags of Kritter’s Crumble!
