Small Bird Cage

Before keeping or setting up a bird. It is important to research and understand the animals needs. Visit websites, read books and list your animals specific needs.

All animals need:

  • Food and to produce waste
  • Water
  • Shelter/ somewhere to sleep
  • Space/ somewhere to live
  • Appropriate substrate
  • Temperature is appropriate
  • Lighting
  • Ventilation / airflow

Ensure the bird enclosure is clean before setting up.

Spread a 3cm or 1 inch layer of Kritter’s Crumble in the floor tray of the enclosure. Remember to check food and water daily. Clean out the cage and add some new Kritter’s Crumble once a week. Then you can recycle the waste in the compost, in the garden or on the lawn.

Bird Breeding Box

Kritter’s Crumble can be used for small to large parrots and cockatoos.

Kritter’s Crumble can be used in bird breeding boxes and hollow logs.

Kritter’s Crumble has great thermal qualities so it can assist parent birds to keep eggs and chicks nice and warm.

Using Kritter’s Crumble in breeding boxes and in logs can also prevent mould and mildew.

Kritter’s Crumble is all natural, environmentally friendly and a great alternative to still often used hardwood sawdust.
